Decent low-budget student science fiction film

Have you ever wondered where all those cheap, schlocky SciFi movies you used to watch on weekend afternoons came from? The disaster movies, the apocalyptic end of the world movies, the cheesy space alien puppet movies? Yeah, I thought they came from Hollywood, too.

Well, maybe they did. This “student film” video, supposedly made in 1993, was recently uploaded to YouTube. Although it’s barely 4 minutes long it actually tells a better story than many 90-minute “pro” movies I’ve suffered through.
